Skamania Pipers

Based in Skamania county in Washington state, pipers Bill Shelton and Mark McCormick play the Celtic pipes.

Frequently they can be heard (with friends) at the Walking Man Pub in Stevenson, but they also perform for weddings and occasionally at various wine tasting rooms along the Columbia Gorge.

Bill and Mark play the Great Highland bagpipes for parades and other outside occasions.  They also play the 'small pipes', sometimes called shuttle or kitchen pipes.  These instruments are smaller and quieter and more appropriate for inside.

The small pipes sound great in meeting rooms or churches.  Bill and Mark work hard to produce the rich harmonies that fill the spirit.  Here are a few recently recorded tunes...

Dark Island

Jolly Beggerman
